Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 (Based on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Senior Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting our finance operations through accurate financial preparation, maintaining the general ledger, and performing account reconciliations. Key Responsibilities:

• As a Senior Staff Accountant, assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Maintain and contribute to the integrity of the general ledger as a Senior Staff Accountant

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting

• Assist with internal and external audit preparations as a trusted Senior Staff Accountant

• Support the month-end and year-end close processes

• Take ownership of accounting tasks and contribute to process improvements in the Senior Staff Accountant role

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a concentration in Accounting

• CPA certification preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in general ledger accounting

• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
